At UFC Vegas 35, Meerschaert submitted Makhmud Muradov via rear-naked choke, despite entering the bout as a +440 heavy underdog; the victory earned Meerschaert a second ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus for the calendar year. The American, fighting out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, holds a 34-14 professional record, including an incredible 32 stoppages (26 submissions, 6 KO/TKO).
Fighting out of Orneta, Poland, Krzysztof Jotko holds a 23-5 professional record, including 16 victories via decision. Defeating Bruno Santos via unanimous decision on his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 33, the 32-year-old has amassed a 10-5 UFC record. Jotko is 4-1 in his last five octagon appearances, holding decision wins over Alen Amedovski, Marc-André Barriault, Eryk Anders, and Misha Cirkunov. Jotko will look to establish a win-streak at UFC Fight Night 208, entering the event on the back of a split decision victory at UFC Vegas 38.
