In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a mountaineer of chilling fierceness ready to showcase his stone-cold style at UFC 273 on April 9. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2017 and representing Factory X, Josh Fremd owns a 9-2 record over the span of 11 professional bouts comprised of four knockouts, three submissions, and two decisions. Fremd has fought for several promotions over the course of his journey as a pro-MMA fighter including Legacy Fighting Alliance, Fighting Alliance Championship, and Bellator MMA. He has finished seven out of his nine wins during his time in the professional ranks.

In his MMA debut, he faced Warren Robards and went on to defeat him via TKO in round two, Fremd submitted Ryan Parker via rear-naked choke in the second round in his lone appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 186. he tapped out Andre Hall in round two via rear-naked choke. Fremd defeated Travis Davis via a split decision at Pinnacle FC 18. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 89, he knocked out Lamar Gosey in the first round. Fremd also knocked out Antonio Jones in round one at LFA 93. In the main event of LFA 98, he knocked out Brazil’s Bruno Olivera in the first round. Fremd defeated Renato Alves via unanimous decision in the main event of LFA 116 to earn his second decision win as a professional.. He submitted Joel Bauman via rear-naked choke in the second round at Fighting Alliance Championship 12. The victory earned Fremd the third submission win of his professional career.

For his debut outing with the UFC at UFC 273 on April 9, he will take on Anthony Hernandez in a middleweight encounter. Good luck Josh!
