Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Hyder Amil

Having a natural progression from one bout to the next is the key to maintaining long-term success with any promotion.  In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a keeper of elemental nature creating a category five storm surge in Legacy Fighting Alliance. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2017 and representing El Nino Training Center, Hyder Amil holds an undefeated 6-0 professional record comprised of three knockouts, one submission, and two decisions. Amil fought for Bellator MMA prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 117 in November 2021. He is currently 2-0 under the LFA banner, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. Amil has finished four out of his six wins during his time in the professional ranks, with all four of those finishes coming inside the distance. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his career as a pro-MMA fighter.

In his MMA debut at Dragon House 27, he defeated Adam Cruz via TKO in the second round. Amil also defeated Elias Anderson via TKO in round two in his promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 199. At Bellator 220, he tapped out Paradise Vaovasa in the first round via rear-naked choke to pick up his first and only submission victory as a pro. Amil defeated Ignacio Ortiz via a split decision at Bellator 226. Then in his debut outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 117, he defeated Robson Junior via TKO in the second round to earn his third knockout win as a professional.

In the co-main event of LFA 129, Amil defeated Devante Sewell via a split decision. The win earned Amil the second decision victory of his professional career. He also picked up back-to back victories under the LFA banner in the process. Amil is showing opponents what can really go down when they tip the balance  of natural order!
