Kok will replace Coopr, a third-party agency that has handled GLORY’s PR initiatives for the last two years. She will take on all press and media relationships, develop various PR plans, execute upcoming press conferences and media interviews, and help prepare and support GLORY fighters with their media contacts.
Kok comes to GLORY with experience in events and PR. At her former employer, Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, she had multiple nationwide media contacts and supported her colleagues with media training. In former roles at other companies, she developed and executed various marketing and communication plans.
“Neelke has a wealth of experience working public relations in the Netherlands and understands what it takes to grow a brand and connect with Dutch audiences,” said GLORY Executive Vice President of Marketing, Digital & Partnerships Jon Martone. “We believe she will play an instrumental role in shaping GLORY’s growth for years to come.”
“Kickboxing is a great, respectful, and appreciative sport,” said Kok. “It’s time that the world and the media get to know this sport as it really is. I hope to tell the stories behind the fighters and offer more media insights.”
“I’ve already met a lot of passionate and friendly people in this business. I’m eager to let the world see this sport through my eyes,” added Kok. “GLORY is exactly the right next step for me. Combining my experience in events and PR, as well as my Dutch media contacts, I can help GLORY perform even better at PR and branding. GLORY already has a great globally known name in the sports industry and I’m confident to say that we can make the GLORY brand even greater together with the whole Marketing team. I’m really looking forward to work with these passionate and smart people and help build the brand from the inside out.”
