We are one sleep away from UFC Fight Night Aspinall vs Blaydes, which will take place at the O2 arena in London. This will be the UFC’s second event in London in just 5 months and has returned with yet another banger of a card.
The main event will be handled by 2 heavyweight contenders who are one win away from either a title shot or an eliminator (depending on Tuivasa vs Gane) as Curtis Blaydes will try to play the spoiler and take out Tom Aspinall in his home country. Both fighters are riding win streaks that could propel the, to the next level.
The rest of the card is very similar to the one in March as fan favorites Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann are on the main card and will look to further cement themselves as the future of UK MMA. The co-main event took a blow when Darren Till fell out due to injury, but as we know one fight does not make up the whole card.
There are several pivotal matchups for contender status as well, especially in the LHW division which will feature BJJ ace and Triangle Choke wizard Paul Craig taking on former title contender Volkan Oezdemir. The return of “The Mauler” has also been an under-the-radar fight many fans have overlooked.
