An amateur mixed martial artist since August 2020 and representing Niagra Top Team, Alex Moher holds a 4-1 record through five bouts comprised of two submissions and two decisions. Moher has fought for numerous promotions in his home nation of Canada including Unified MMA. He is 1-0 under the LFA banner, with a single finish under his belt for the promotion, with a time of one minute and 46 seconds. Moher has finished two out of his four victories during his time in the amateur ranks, with both of those finishes coming inside of two rounds. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his amateur career, sweeping them clean across the board both times.
In his amateur MMA debut at Montreal Fight League 17, he faced Martin Marticorena and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Moher also defeated Samuel Lavoie via unanimous decision at Montreal Fight League 18 to earn his second decision win as an amateur. He tapped out Antony Rojas in round three via arm-triangle choke at Unified MMA 45.
Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 139, he submitted Kevin Hixon via arm-triangle choke in the second round. The victory earned Moher the second submission win of his amateur career. He also picked up his first win under the LFA banner in the process.
