Across The Pond Profile: UFC fighter Karl Williams

The world of mixed martial arts is like a thrilling roller coaster that increases in speed with every turn of the page. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a bulldog of fearsome force ready to rip the opposition limb from limb as the UFC‘S newest big boy bruiser. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2021 and representing American Top Team Atlanta, Karl Williams holds a 7-1 record through eight bouts comprised of four decisions and three knockouts. He has fought for several promotions over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter including PFL MMA. Williams earned his contract from the UFC on week seven during the sixth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2022. He has finished three out of his seven victories during his time in the professional ranks.

In his MMA debut at AFC 6, he faced Charles Philpot and knocked him out in the first round. Williams defeated Peter New via unanimous decision at NFC 137. He defeated Dashawn Boatwright via TKO in round one at Stellar Fights 47. Then at PFL MMA Challenger Series 1, Williams defeated Miles Amos via unanimous decision. He defeated Kyle Wright via unanimous decision at Ikon Fighting Championship 3. At XMMA Southern Heat, Williams defeated Simon Marini via TKO in the first round to earn his third knockout win as a professional.

At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week seven of season six, he defeated Jimmy Lawson via unanimous decision. The victory earned Williams the fourth decision win of his professional career. He also picked up a contract from the UFC in the process. At 7-1, Williams is one bulldog out to show a new generation of big league sluggers that achieving goals can come true at any age!
