Jenny Line – “I just love fighting”

The women of MMA have given fight fans some explosive moments and highlight reels that have excited the fans in recent years. And have proven time and time again that they are just as ruthless and dangerous as their male counterparts in the cage.

On November 19th Fightstar Championship 23 will host two of the most ruthless women on the UK fight scene when LD Fighters Jenny Line takes on GB Top Team’s Kate Bacik in an explosive Flyweight bout in the capital.

I caught up with one half of this barn burner Jenny Line, as she prepares for the violent festivities on Fightstar Championship 23.

Jenny Line 0-3-0 is an English professional Mixed Martial Artist, currently competing in the Flyweight division, representing LD Fighters. She has competed for Caged Steel, Battle Arena, Budo Fighting Championship and will be making her 2nd walk to the Fightstar Championship cage, this time as a professional.

I’d like to kick things off by thanking you for taking the time to speak with me again today Jenny and also to congratulate you on your upcoming inclusion to the Fightstar Championship 23 card.

“Thank you.”

It’s gonna be great to be able to catch LD Fighters in my neck of the woods, as I’ve only ever seen you guys on ppv’s.

“Haha, yeah, it will make a change.”

From what I’ve seen, your dedication to training at LD Fighters has been exceptional even before being added to the Fightstar card. But what has been your main focus during camp in the build-up to your 1st trip to London on your professional MMA journey?

“More or less to work on all the little details that were missing from my last fight. My stand up game is 100 percent better now, also getting the aggression in there and taking the fight to my opponent.”

I look forward to witnessing your improvements.

When receiving the call from the Fightstar team to compete in the capital, was it an opportunity you just couldn’t refuse?

“Yeah, definitely. I’ve been on the card before as an amateur so to get on it again as a professional is great. Also, I just love fighting, so when the opportunity comes along I just snap it up straight away.”

Fightstar’s definitely a great platform, so many exceptional warriors have passed through over the years.

Since joining the professional circuit back in 2021, you have stepped into the cage with some of the fiercest fighters on offer to you. When planning your outings in the cage, is top level opponents something you strive for?

“Yeah I never wanna take an easy fight, there’s no point in my mind. I always wanna push myself in everything I do, fighting is no different really.”

Highly admirable mindset to have.

Yet another exceptional opponent is on the cards for you on November 19th. taking on GB Top Team’s Kate Bacik in a barn burner of a Flyweight contest.

What do you make of Kate in the build-up to your scheduled meeting?

“She’s not as experienced as my last opponent, but on that note, I never underestimate any of my opponents. Although she seems to be underestimating me from what I read in your interview with her haha. She seems to be good in every aspect, so it will be good to have an all-rounded fighter to go up against.”

It’s definitely panning out to be a heated encounter between you both no doubt about it.

Yours is just 1 of many explosive bouts Raj Singh and his team have pieced together for what is set to be one of the biggest Fightstar events to date.

Other than your inclusion on the night, are there any announced matchups or fighters added to the card in particular that you’re looking forward to witnessing?

“Yeah, my partner is set to fight on the night, it’s not been announced yet so keep your eyes peeled for that. I can’t wait to see him go to war, that’ll be good.”

I’ll definitely keep an eye out for that.

It’s been great speaking with you again today Jenny. I wish you all the best for the 19th and I look forward to witnessing you out there in person.

“Brilliant l, thank you for speaking with me, it’s been good.

Anytime.

Last but not least do you have a message for the fans that will be in attendance and anybody you’d like to give a shout-out to?

“Big shout-out to my team and all my supporters at home, my family, and friends. There will be violence as Kate said, but I don’t think it will be in the way she’s thinking.”

Catch Jenny and many more phenomenal warriors take center stage at what’s shaping up to be an incredible fight card on November 19th at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London.
