Across The Pond Profile: Invicta Fighting Championships fighter Elise Pone

Making it to 50 events in a promotion is a measuring stick for a desire to do things bigger and better for the next stretch run as the calendar turns. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a cougar of granite ready to create a landslide of silent violence at 125 pounds in Invicta FC. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2021 and representing Central PA Mixed Martial Arts, Elise Pone owns a 2-1 record through three bouts comprised of one knockout and one decision. Pone has spent her entire tenure as a pro-MMA fighter with Invicta Fighting Championships so far. She is 2-1 under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner, with one finish under her belt for the promotion with a time of two minutes and seven seconds. Pone has finished one out of her two wins during her time in the professional ranks. She has gone to the scorecards a single time over the course of her pro career, sweeping them clean across the board in that instance. Pone has a single second-round finish in her three appearances as a professional mixed martial artist with Invicta Fighting Championships thus far.

In her professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta on AXS TV, she faced Crissy Yandoli and went on to defeat her via TKO in the second round to earn her first knockout win as a professional along with her first victory under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner. Then in the opening contest of Invicta FC 50 Pone defeated Melissa Odessa Parker via unanimous decision. The victory earned Pone the first decision win of her professional career. She also picked up her second win under the Invicta FC banner in the process. There is no peace without victory when Pone enters the warzone no matter what the style or age of the opponent standing across from her is!
