Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Kegan Gennrich

Making your presence known in a promotion can be like an aged bottle of the world’s finest wine once the debut jitters filter out of your system. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a burrower of the deep cold ready to emerge from hibernation in a hail of heated steel for Legacy Fighting Alliance. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2015 and representing Fox Valley Grappling Club, Kegan Gennrich owns a 5-2 record in seven bouts comprised of two submissions, two decisions, and one knockout. Gennrich fought for Chosen Few Fighting Championships prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 88 in August 2020. He has finished three out of his five victories during his time in the professional ranks. Gennrich is 2-1 with LFA, with one finish under his belt in three appearances with the promotion with a time of two minutes and 59 seconds. All three of Gennrich’s finishes over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have come inside the distance.

At Chosen Few Fighting Championships 6, he faced Kendrick Terry and went on to defeat him via TKO in the second round. Gennrich tapped out Devondrick Bankston in round one via armbar at Chosen Few Fighting Championships 17. Then at Chosen Few Fighting Championships 20, he defeated Jordan Schulte via unanimous decision. Gennrich defeated Austin Lutchen via unanimous decision in his second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 131.

in his third outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the main card of LFA 145, he submitted Jake Kozorsky via armbar in the second round. The victory earned Gennrich the second submission win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back wins under the LFA banner in the process. At 5-2 with the ground game to chill out any opponent, Gennrich is one of the coldest craftsmen in the cage with icy consequences for those that slip up!
