Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Dario Bellandi

Italian MMA had the ultimate moment of crowning glory in 2022 when Cage Warriors made their presence known in the land of the gladiators in October of this year as the cherry on top of the sundae. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a tri-coloured firecracker ready to bring the heavy artillery and roll on through a division full of rock-solid opposition at Cage Warriors 148 on December 31. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2019 and representing Rendoki Dojo, Dario Bellandi owns a 3-1 record in four contests comprised of two knockouts and one submission. Bellandi has finished all three of his victories during his time in the professional ranks. He is 1-1 under the Cage Warriors banner with one finish under his belt for the promotion with a time of 53 seconds. 100 percent of Bellandi’s wins over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have come within the space of two rounds, with two first-round finishes and a single second-round finish to show for it.

In his MMA debut at RDC Fight Night. he faced Domenico Facchineri and went on to defeat him via TKO in round one. Bellandi also defeated Gerardo Mazzaro via TKO in the first round at RDC Fight Night Alfredo Rizzoli trophy 5 to earn his second knockout win as a professional. Then in his second fight with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 144, he submitted Joan Arastey in the second round via triangle choke. The victory earned Bellandi the first submission win of his professional career. He also picked up his first win under the Cage Warriors banner in the process.

For his third outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 148 on December 31, Bellandi will face Justin Berry in an encounter at middleweight in a team Europe versus team United States affair. Good luck Dario!
