Across The Pond Profile: PFL MMA fighter Thad Jean

A fighter on the climb may journey to other promotions before landing in his forever home. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a hammerhead of shining steel ready to rise above the blue surface of the silent sea and show his snarl in PFL MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2021 and representing Fight Sports Deerfield Beach, Thad Jean owns an undefeated 4-0 record comprised of two knockouts, one submission, and one decision, Jean has fought for numerous organizations over the course of his career including CES MMA, Legacy Fighting Alliance, and Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He has finished three out of his four victories during his time in the professional ranks. All three of Jean’s finishes during his career as a professional MMA fighter have come within the space of two rounds. Jean has gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board in that instance. He has also fought for Combate Global.

In his MMA debut at CES MMA 63, Jean faced Sage Philppe and went on to submit him in the first round via rear-naked choke. He defeated Thomas Majeski via TKO in round one in his lone appearance with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 102. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the main card of LFA 128, Jean defeated Sarek Shields via TKO in the second round to earn his second knockout win as a professional.

At Combate Global, he defeated Georgie Medina via unanimous decision. The victory earned Jean the first decision win of his professional career. Jean also extended his unbeaten streak to four straight to begin his career in the process. With plenty of youthful aggression, this swift swimmer is out for big fish in the major league pool with the power of the tides!
