BRAVE Combat Federation’s last event of 2022 has been full of drama in its lead-up, with fighters trying to resort to shaved heads to make weight and last-minute cancellations – ahead of BRAVE CF 68/NFC 11, which takes place this Saturday, in Dusseldorf, Germany, with National Fighting Championships, 16 BRAVE CF and NFC warriors stepped up to the big stage to face off their opponents one last time before fight night.
In the first few fights of the evening, the tension was palpable – especially in the new first fight of the night (Max Holzer vs Andrey Tyschenko has also been scrapped), as Jefferson Oliveira and Ali Guliyev touched foreheads and had to be separated by BRAVE CF and NFC officials before things escalated further.
The same happened in the next couple of fights, with Matheus Miranda and Axel Sola also exchanging words in what was a tense staredown ceremony overall.
In the main event, a hairless Joilton Lutterbach seemed in good spirits and certainly dressed up for the occasion in a three-piece suit reminiscent of a character from the hit show ”Peaky Blinders” for his staredown with Mihail Cotruta. Due to failing to make weight, Lutterbach will not be crowned interim Super Lightweight champion in case he beats Cotruta. The Moldovan combat sambo master of sports, however, did make weight and the title is still up for grabs for him.
