Fletcher, Cullen & more sign long term deals

Two of the UK’s hottest prospects, Next Generation Liverpool fighters Nathan Fletcher and Adam Cullen, have signed multi-fight extensions to compete exclusively for Cage Warriors.

Fletcher (7-1) recently made a successful return to the promotion following a fifteen-month hiatus, earning a unanimous decision victory over highly regarded Italian up-and-comer Alessandro Giordano at CW 148.

Firmly re-establishing himself at the top of a stacked 135lb division, the 25-year-old also holds notable wins over former title challenger Brian Bouland, current champion Michele Martignoni and an amateur victory against top contender Caolan Loughran.

Joining Fletcher with a multi-fight extension of his own is Next Generation teammate Adam Cullen (7-0).

The 24-year-old finishing machine has competed exclusively in the famous yellow gloves since leaving the amateur ranks, and is yet to see the second round of a professional contest.

Cage Warriors have also confirmed a number of new additions to their roster, with six athletes recently inking long-term commitments with the promotion.

Leon ‘The Hitman’ Hill (4-1), Matthew ‘The Squid’ Camilleri (6-1), ‘Crazy’ Chris Price (4-0), Ieuan Davies (2-0), Awa ‘Badwawax’ Sow (1-2) and Shawn Da Silva (4-1) will all feature as part of the 2023 world tour.

“I’m delighted to welcome so many new faces to the Cage Warriors roster…” said CW President Graham Boylan.

“2023 is going to be a huge year for the promotion, and I’m expecting big things from all those who’ve joined us.”

“With fighters of the calibre of Nathan Fletcher and Adam Cullen also extending their contracts, and more in the pipeline, there’s endless potential for incredible fights throughout the 2023 world tour!”

Cage Warriors’ 2023 schedule kicks off with CW 149 in San Diego on March 3rd, before returning to London for CW 150 on March 17th.

Another edition of Unplugged hits the BT Sport Studio with CW 151 on March 24th, before Manchester plays host to CW 152 on April 15th.

Finally, April 29th sees the promotion’s long-awaited return to Dublin’s 3 Arena for CW 153.

Further dates and roster additions will be announced in due course.
