In a recent video on his YouTube channel, KSI (real name Olajide Olatunji) revealed that the security guard who choked Dillon Danis was going to attend the press conference ahead of the pair’s now cancelled bout. In a video titled “Laughing at Dillon Danis,” KSI said, “So, now I can tell you. At the press conference, we had the security guard ready. He was gonna be there, ready, waiting.”
For those unfamiliar with the context, in 2021, a video went viral on MMA social media showing jiujitsu world champion and MMA fighter Dillon Danis being put in a rear naked choke by a security guard after being denied entry to a bar. After being refused entry, even after presenting identification, Danis became agitated and a scuffle ensued, during which the security guard, who is also a part-time chocolatier, took Danis to the ground and applied the chokehold.
This is just one of several embarrassing moments for the once-promising prospect, who last competed in 2019 and went 2-0 in Bellator. Danis was also humiliated by Jake Paul while appearing on Brendan Schaub’s “Food Truck Diaries,” when Paul pulled up beside the filming crew and taunted Danis while pelting him with toilet paper. Most recently, Danis appeared on Ariel Helwani’s “MMA Hour,” where he was systematically verbally destroyed by Helwani.

Given these events, it is unclear if we will ever see Danis compete again, or if anyone even wants to.
