Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Chepe Mariscal

Action has always been the glue that has solidified Legacy Fighting Alliance’s reputation as a developmental powerhouse that has managed to churn out champion after champion in its decorated history. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an eagle of high altitude looking to put the featherweight division in a cold spell of the calamitous kind in the main event of LFA 153 on February 17. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2014 and representing Elevation Fight Team, Chepe Mariscal owns a 12-6-1 record in 18 contests comprised of five knockouts, three submissions, four decisions and a no contest. Mariscal has fought for various organizations throughout his time as a professional MMA fighter including Cage Warriors and Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He has finished eight out of his 12 victories during his time in the professional ranks.

In his MMA debut, he faced Lester Cole iii and went on to submit him in round one via triangle choke. Mariscal defeated Lashawn Alcocks via unanimous decision at Battle in the South 10. He defeated Max Bohanan via unanimous decision at Ring Of Combat 53. Then at Hooiser Fight Club 30, Mariscal tapped out Andrew Karsten via rear-naked choke in the first round. He defeated his next three opponents that included wins over Pat Sabatini and Tim Cho. Mariscal tapped out Lerryan Douglas via triangle choke in round one at HFC 37. He defeated Zoussef Zalal via unanimous decision in the main event of LFA 57. Mariscal defeated Vladimir Cerbadji via TKO in the first round at HFC 40. He defeated Luke Faultersack via TKO in round two in his lone appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 133. Mariscal defeated Jordan Beltran via TKO in the second round at Combate Global to earn the fifth knockout victory of his professional career.

In the main event of LFA 153 on February 17, he will take on Guilherme Faria in an encounter at featherweight. Good luck Chepe!
