Welterweight duo Adam Darby and Jack Tucker are set to meet in the octagon at Cage Warriors 153 in Dublin.
The event is scheduled to take place in just over 11 weeks time on April 29 at Dublin’s 3Arena, and the card will be headlined by a welterweight title bout between Rhys McKee and Jimmy Wallhead.

Darby (1-1) will be making his third promotion appearance at Cage Warriors 153, and comes into the bout off the back of a loss to Mush Aslani via first round knockout.
‘The Plank‘ is a talented prospect in the sport, having only made his professional debut in June last year in an impressive knockout victory over Dorian Cliucinicov.
This followed an incredibly successful amateur career, where he earned 10 victories of which just two came vias decision. April 29 will mark the 24-year-old’s first hometown appearance since moving into MMA full time.
His opponent, Tucker (1-0), is a fellow newcomer to the professional game, although unlike Darby, he hasn’t entered the octagon since November 2021.
Despite a 14-month hiatus, the Welshman will be coming into the contest off the back of a victory against fellow countryman Ryan Williams via unanimous decision.
Cage Warriors 153 will be Tucker’s debut within the promotion, again following an illustrious amateur career involving nine wins of which seven came prior to the final bell.

Darby will have a four inch height advantage as the two men enter the octagon, and he will be hoping to get back to winning ways following that disappointing loss to Aslani.
Tucker presents more of an unknown quality to Cage Warriors fans, and it will be intriguing to see how the Welshman performs given his lengthy period outside the professional game.
