Across The Pond Profile: PFL MMA fighter Amanda Leve

The landscape of mixed martial arts has undergone a significant shift in terms of the talent pool across the decades from the era of Ronda Rousey to Kayla Harrison. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a sphynx of iron determination looking to follow in the footsteps of champions as PFL MMA’S next pack separator with the 2023 season approaching. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2021 and representing Dante Rivera BJJ, Amanda Leve holds an undefeated 2-0 record comprised of one submission and one decision. Leve has spent her entire career as a professional MMA fighter with PFL MMA thus far. The lone finish during Leve’s career has come inside the opening round, with a time of four minutes and 18 seconds. She has gone to the scorecards a single time over the course of her career, sweeping them clean across the board in that instance. Leve is 2-0 under the PFL MMA banner, with one finish under her belt in two appearances with the organization.

In her professional MMA debut and promotional debut with PFL MMA at PFL 8, she faced Miranda Barber and went on to tap her out via rear-naked choke in the first round to earn her first submission win as a professional. Then in the main event of the PFL Challenger Series week two of season two, she defeated Naranjargal Tsendayush via unanimous decision. The victory earned Leve the first decision win of her professional career. She also picked up back-to-back wins under the PFL MMA banner in the process in addition to scoring her second consecutive victory to begin her career in the professional ranks. With notable female talents like UFC veteran Aspen Ladd slated to be included in the 2023 campaign, Leve could very be off to a storybook start when the curtain comes down in shimmering golden light!
