Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Griffin Parriott

Being a wrestler in the collegiate ranks often bodes well for those that make the transition into the professional leagues. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a boilermaker of billowing smoke clouds making an on-time arrival as the latest golden train for Legacy Fighting Alliance. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2022 and representing The Academy, Griffin Parriott owns a 1-0 record with his lone victory coming via submission. Parriott has spent his entire career as a professional MMA fighter with Legacy Fighting Alliance thus far. He is 1-0 under the LFA banner with one finish under his belt for the organization with a time of two minutes and 16 seconds. The only finish during Parriott’s career in the professional ranks has come within the opening round. Parriott has a finishing rate of 100 percent and has a single first round finish under his belt in his only professional appearance thus far. Parriott has yet to go to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional mixed martial artist. He was a NCAA division one college wrestler at Purdue University of the Big 10 conference.  Parriott has yet to make it past the opening round during his pro career so far.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 142, he faced Ratavious Williams and went on to submit him via arm-triangle choke in the first round. The victory earned Parriott the first submission win of his professional career. He also picked up his first win under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner in the process. With many decorated college wrestlers having gone on to achieve success at the pinnacle of the MMA mountain, Parriott is a prospect whose potential is bubbling to the surface with a full head of steam!
