Organizations that are considered to be well-known on the local circuit often get lost in the shuffle when bigger players are the ones dealing out the sporting cards in spite of the odds. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a spartan of the raging river flooding the stigma as Fighting Alliance Championship’s latest tidal riser at welterweight. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2021 and representing Marathon Mixed Martial Arts under head coach Trey Ogden, Zach Scroggin holds an undefeated 4-0 record comprised of three knockouts and one decision. Scroggin has spent his entire career as a professional MMA fighter with Fighting Alliance Championship thus far. The majority of Scroggin’s victories during his time in the professional ranks have come inside the distance. He is 4-0 under the Fighting Alliance Championship banner, with three finishes under his belt in four appearances with the promotion, earning a finish inside of two rounds in three out of four appearances. Scroggin has gone to the scorecards a single time over the course of his pro career. Scroggin has two first-round finishes under his belt in addition to a single second-round finish in four professional appearances thus far.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Fighting Alliance Championship at FAC 11, he faced Skyler Hicks and defeated him via a split decision to earn his first and only decision win as a professional. Scroggin knocked out Jordan Donais in the first round at FAC 12. Then at FAC 16, he defeated Keyth Dawson via technical knockout in round one.
In the co-main event of FAC 18, Scroggin defeated Jeremiah Cutwright in the second round. The victory earned Scroggin the third knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up win number four under the Fighting Alliance Championship banner in the process. Battling Scroggin has proven to be anything but a war to the victory line!
