Hammond has fought for several organizations over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Bellator MMA. The majority of Hammond’s victories during his pro career have been inside the distance. He has finished four out of his five wins during his time in the professional ranks. Hammond has four first-round finishes under his belt through five professional appearances thus far. He has gone to the scorecards a single time during his career, sweeping them clean across the board in that one and only instance.
In his MMA debut at Heros Fight League 2 battle in the pandemic. he defeated Ionut Brostic via technical knockout in round one. Hammond also defeated Jamie Hay via TKO in the first round in his lone appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 275. Then at Heros Fight League 3, he defeated Bogdan Blajan via technical knockout in round one to earn his third knockout win as a professional. Hammond defeated Sufiev Karomatullo via unanimous decision at Super MMA League 3 to secure the only decision victory of his pro career thus far.
At Elire Fighting Championship 1, he submitted Nicola Ivanovic in the first round via armbar. The win earned Hammond the first submission victory of his professional career.
