The European market has proven to be extremely reliable over the years for Bellator MMA and has provided the organization with opportunities to develop the newest generation of fighters for much more than the sake of national pride and professional prestige. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest generational shamrock giving the Irish faithful something to smile about. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2022 and representing SBG Ireland, Darragh Kelly holds an undefeated 3-0 record comprised of one knockout, one submission and one decision. Kelly has spent his whole career as a professional MMA fighter with Bellator MMA thus far. He is 3-0 with Bellator MMA with two finishes under his belt in three appearances with the promotion. The majority of Kelly’s victories during his time in the professional ranks have been inside the distance. He has gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board on that occasion.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 275, he faced Junior Morgan and went on to tap him out in round one via guillotine choke to secure his first submission victory as a professional. Kelly defeated Kyle Stevens via unanimous decision at Bellator 285 to earn back-to-back wins with Bellator MMA.

For his third outing under the Bellator MMA banner on the preliminary card of Bellator 291, he defeated Jordan Dorval via technical knockout in the third round. The win earned Kelly the first knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up his second finish in addition to extending his unbeaten streak to three to begin his career in the process along with his third straight victory with Bellator MMA.  With numerous SBG Ireland alumni having drunk from the cup of champion’s gold, Kelly is poised to draw the battle line and swing victory’s sword once more!
