Legacy Fighting Alliance has solidified their shining standing within MMA circles by being an equal opportunity organization by giving the next generation a chance to shine through 157 events. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a jaguar of youthful envy ready to spring the trap on unsuspecting flyweights as the latest Brazilian starlet for the promotion. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2021 and representing Texiera MMA and Fitness, Mariana Piccolo owns a 2-2 record in four pro bouts comprised of one submission and one decision. Piccolo fought for various promotions in her home nation of Brazil prior to making her promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 148 in December 2022. The one and only finish during Piccolo’s professional career has come inside the second round with a time of four minutes and 44 seconds. She is 1-1 under the LFA banner with one finish under her belt for the organization. Piccolo has gone to the scorecards a single time during her time in the professional ranks sweeping it clean across the board in that instance. Piccolo has one second-round finish under her belt in four appearances over the course of her career as a professional MMA fighter. Piccolo has finished one out of her two victories in her pro career.
In her MMA debut at Standout Fighting Tournament 31, she faced Margjorie Barragan and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision to earn her first decision win as a professional. Then in her second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 157, Piccolo tapped out Rachel Lippert via rear-naked choke in round two. The win earned Piccolo the first submission victory of her professional career. She also picked up victory number one under the LFA banner in the process. At just 20 years old, Piccolo is one jungle feline who is just beginning to truly show her stripes!
