Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Elijah Harris

The North American market for Cage Warriors has produced several true gems that have proven to be worth the wait in terms of productive appearances like Justin Berry and Damon Wilson. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a golden volcano ready to erupt in victorious sparks as he journeys to the heavyweight division. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2021 and representing 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, Elijah Harris owns a 4-2 record in six bouts comprised of three submissions and one decision. The majority of Harris’s wins over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have been inside the opening round. Harris has gone to the scorecards once during his pro career sweeping it cleanly across the board in that one and only instance. He has a 100 percent finishing rate. Harris fought for Gladiator Challenge Underground prior to making his promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 133 in March 2022. He is 1-2 with Cage Warriors with a single finish under his belt in three appearances with the organization.

In his MMA debut at Gladiator Challenge Underground, he submitted Nick Pendola via arm-triangle choke in the first round. Harris also tapped out Ronnie Sanchez in round one via armbar at Gladiator Challenge Underground 2. Then at Gladiator Challenge Underground 3, he defeated Thomas Ferguson via unanimous decision to earn his first and only decision win as a professional.

In his second appearance with Cage Warriors on the main card of Cage Warriors 139, he submitted Armando Murillo via arm-triangle choke in round one. The win earned Harris the third submission victory of his professional career in addition to victory number one under the Cage Warriors banner. He also picked up his third first-round finish in the process. Harris has a submission attack that guarantees opponents know the dangers of playing with fire!
