Across The Pond profile PFL MMA fighter Corneila Holm

Competing on an even playing field has allowed many promotions to thrive even with the changing of the times. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a phoenix of redeemed refinement ready to give the French faithful a taste of her Swedish metal at PFL Paris. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2017 and representing GBG MMA, Corneila Holm owns a 6-5 record in 11 bouts comprised of four decisions, one knockout and one submission. Holm has fought for numerous promotions over the course of her career as a professional MMA fighter including Cage Warriors, Oktagon MMA and PFL MMA. She is 1-0 under the PFL MMA banner. Holm has gone through to the scorecards four times during her career as a professional mixed martial artist so far. She has finished two out of her six overall victories with both of those finishes coming inside the distance.

In her MMA debut at Cage Warriors 87, she faced Diana Felipe and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision. Holm tapped out Morgane Ribout via rear-naked choke in the first round to earn her lone submission win as a professional. Then at Oktagon 12, she defeated Veronika Rodova via unanimous decision. Holm defeated Amillia Kapri via technical knockout in the second round at AK Fighting Championship 3 to secure her first and only knockout victory as a professional. She defeated Roza Gumienna via unanimous decision at Oktagon 34.

In her promotional debut with PFL MMA at PFL Newcastle, Holm defeated Marta Waliczek via a split decision. The win earned Holm the fourth decision victory of her professional career. She also picked up victory number one under the PFL MMA banner in addition to her sixth professional win in the process. Holm might not always drink from victory’s cup, but she always makes the most out of a battle come storm clouds or blue skies!
