A professional mixed martial artist since February 2022 and representing Checkmat BJJ, Kody Steele holds an undefeated 4-0 record comprised of two decisions, one submission and one knockout. Steele has spent his whole career as a professional MMA fighter with Fury Fighting Championship so far. He has finished two out of his four victories overall during his time in the professional ranks. Steele has gone to the scorecards twice during his pro career, sweeping them cleanly across the board on both occasions. He is 4-0 under the Fury Fighting Championship banner with two finishes in four appearances with the organization. Both of Steele’s finishes during his career as a professional mixed martial artist have been inside the distance with one first-round finish in addition to a single second-round finish to go along with it.

In his MMA debut at Fury FC 56, he faced Jessee Gengler and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Steele submitted Brakenden Freeman via rear-naked choke in the second round at Fury FC Challenger Series 1. Then at Fury FC 73, he defeated Sam Kilmer via unanimous decision to earn his second decision win as a professional.

At Fury FC 81, Steele knocked out Nick Whitehead in the first round. The victory earned Steele the first and only knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up his fourth consecutive victory under the Fury Fighting Championship banner in the process.
