Team Renegade and Cage Warriors remain forever linked by history thanks to their history of being a championship factory past and present. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest member of the champion tree ready to reach the sky as he hunts for the golden strap at welterweight. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2021 and representing Team Renegade, Omiel Brown holds a 6-2 record in eight bouts comprised of four knockouts and two submissions. Brown has spent his entire career as a professional MMA fighter with Cage Warriors. He has finished all six of his victories during his time in the professional ranks. The majority of Brown’s finishes over the course of his professional career have been inside the distance. Brown has four first-round finishes under his belt to go along with two second-round finishes through eight appearances as a professional mixed martial artist so far.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 121, he submitted Joshua Onwordi in the first round. Brown also tapped out Joel Downey Cave in round one at Cage Warriors 123 to earn his second submission win as a professional. Then at Cage Warriors 135, he defeated Dan Hepworth via technical knockout in the second round. Brown defeated Alexander Lindgren via TKO in round one on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 141. He defeated Alfredo Souza via technical knockout in the second round on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 148.

In his next outing with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 157, he knocked out Jessie Urholin in round one. The win earned Brown the fourth knockout victory of his professional career in addition to his fourth first-round finish in the process. With fearsome knockout power and an equally as dangerous ground assault, it is easy to see why Brown should be the next man up to carry the championship cup!
