HEXAGONE MMA head to the Netherlands, in Co-promotion with ECE

Following successful fight nights in the United Arab Emirates and Germany last year, HEXAGONE MMA’s next international stop will be the Netherlands! On October 28, 2023, the French promotion will export itself to Alkmaar, to the Hoornse Vaart sports complex, for an event organised and co-promoted with local household brand, Enfusion Cage Events (ECE). HEXAGONE MMA is likely to provide the main card, while ECE will provide the preliminaries, with athletes from both organisations competing against each other across the night. This first-time collaboration promises a unique offering for fans.

“We are very much looking forward to it,” says Jérôme Pourrut, co-founder of HEXAGONE MMA. “This is our first event abroad this year, so there are a lot of expectations. On this occasion, we chose to partner with the ECE, a world-renowned kickboxing and MMA promoter. The synergy between the two brands makes sense and will benefit everyone.”

For HEXAGONE MMA, this latest announcement forms part of a broader international development strategy. Already, to expand its presence across the globe, the promotion set up its cage in Dubai in 2022 before organising an event in Oberhausen, in co-promotion with GMC, a German leader in mixed martial arts. Further to this, on September 7, HEXAGONE MMA will join forces with BRAVE CF – the star MMA organisation of the Middle East – to offer an unprecedented, combined bill at the H Arena in Nantes.

“We can’t wait to put together this show with HEXAGONE MMA, as one of the most ambitious mixed martial arts organisations in Europe,” said Edwin Van Os, President of the ECE. “Together, we will offer fans an unforgettable night of fights.”

By bringing together the best names that HEXAGONE MMA has to offer with top talent from ECE, the card certainly promises fans a night of stand-out action. The first matches are to be revealed shortly.
