The regional academies have remained a large part of the recent run of Cage Warrior’s success in turning prospects into the champions of the future. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest prospect of golden purity, ready to make Dublin sparkle at Cage Warriors 188 on April 26. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2021 and representing BKK Fighters, Charlie Falco owns a 6-4 record in 10 bouts, comprised of two decisions, three knockouts and one submission. Falco has finished four out of his six total victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter,r with each of those wins coming inside the opening round. Falco has gone to the scorecards twice during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board on both occasions. Falco has also fought for several other promotions during his career including Celtic Gladiator and Cage Warriors Academy Southeast.
At MFC 5, he faced Francesco di Renzo Mannino and went on to submit him in the first round via rear-naked choke to secure his first submission win as a professional. Then at Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 28, Falco defeated Riccardo Pala via unanimous decision. He defeated Adil Cherfi via unanimous decision at Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 29 to earn his second decision victory as a professional. Falco defeated Ben Harrison via technical knockout in the first round at Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 31. He defeated Pala for the second time via TKO in round two at Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 33. At Cage Warriors Academy Southeast 34, Falco defeated Jakub Weidenthaler via technical knockout in round one to secure the third knockout victory of his professional career. He also earned his sixth win inside the professional ranks in the process.
In his promotional debut under the Cage Warriors banner on April 26 at Cage Warriors 188, Falco will face off against Jamie Abbott-Bissett in an affair at Flyweight. Good luck, Charlie!
