In three journeys to the Empire State, East Coast talents have led the charge for Legacy Fighting Alliance in hopes of creating a rivalry between the coasts in terms of fighting pride and settling personal scores inside the arena where only one man can truly come out the victor. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a falcon of the falls whose flight of finishes has him soaring skyward for the organization at middleweight. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2018 and representing Team Empire and 10th Planet Rochester, Liam Anderson holds a 5-2 record in seven contests comprised of four submissions and one knockout. Anderson has fought for several promotions during his time in the professional ranks including Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance. He is 2-0 under the LFA banner with two finishes under his belt in two appearances with the organization. Anderson has never gone to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter with a finish rate of 100 percent to show for it.
At Maverick MMA 13, he faced Tyler Bayer and went on to tap him out in round three. Anderson submitted Gordon Wigington via triangle choke in the first round at CFFC 95. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 139, he defeated Robert Gidron via technical knockout in round one to earn his first and only knockout win as a professional. Anderson submitted Gordon Cunningham via arm-triangle choke in the first round at BTC 20.
In the opening main card bout of LFA 167, he tapped out Jarrion Manning in round two via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Anderson the fourth submission win of his professional career in addition to his second win under the LFA banner in the process. Anderson’s ground assault is guaranteed to ensnare the reckless like bugs on a windshield!
