Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Sean Clancy Jr

One of the many unique things about Cage Warriors is that the roster expansion is deepening by the day depending on what division requires the highest possible depth on an upcoming card. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the newest Scottish slinger ready to hurl the earthly heavens as the promotion’s latest welterweight acquisition slated for the organization’s upcoming return to the Irish home base at Cage Warriors 161 on October 14.A professional mixed martial artist since April 2023 and representing Higher Level Martial Arts, Sean Clancy Jr owns a 2-0 record with each of his victories coming via knockout. He has fought for Unity Fighting Championship and Budo Fighting Championships. Both of his wins during his time in the professional ranks have come inside the opening round. Clancy Jr has never gone to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter and has a 100 percent finish rate to show for it. He has two first round finishes under his belt in both of his appearances as a professional mixed martial artist so far. Clancy Jr has spent his entire professional career in the United Kingdom thus far.

In his MMA debut at Budo Fighting Championships 57, he faced Ben Disson and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the first round. Then in the main event of Unity Fighting Championship, he defeated Jack Comby in round one. The victory earned Clancy Jr the second knockout win of his professional career in addition to his second consecutive first round finish in the process and back-to-back wins to go along with it. All it takes is a single tactical error by the opposition to have Clancy Jr waving his sword in a victory motion and the foe’s head on the block stinging with unbearable shame!
