In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest Northern acquisition ready to become the stuff of nightmares for UFC heavyweights. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2017 and representing FKP MMA Vancouver, Caio Machado owns a 8-1-1 record in nine contests comprised of four knockouts, two submissions two decisions and a draw. He earned his UFC contract on the opening episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season seven in 2023 and has also fought for Battlefield Fight League. The majority of Machado’s victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have been inside the distance. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his time in the professional ranks.

At BFL 54, he faced Jamie Smyth and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the first round. Machado defeated Dalton Duperreault via TKO in round one at BFL 60. He submitted Edison Lopes via armbar in round one in the main event of BFL 75.

At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week one of season seven, Machado defeated Kevin Szaflarski via unanimous decision. The victory earned Machado the second decision win of his professional career in addition to a UFC contract in the process. With thunderous fists and the power to snatch and snap limbs, Machado is a giant that can make the very ground quake beneath opponent’s feet!
