Across The Pond Profile: Anthony Pettis Fighting Championship fighter Dillion Cox

A fighter’s competitive flame often burns the brightest when championship gold is at the highest stake. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2019 and representing Skywalker 101 Boxing Academy, Dillion Cox owns a 6-4 record in 10 bouts comprised of five submissions and one decision. The majority of his wins during his time in the professional ranks have been inside the distance. Cox has fought for various organizations over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Dynasty Combat Sports, Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has five finishes under his belt in 10 appearances during his career as a professional mixed martial artist. The one and only decision victory during his pro career has come via a unanimous verdict.

At DCS 56 Thanksgiving Throwdown, Cox faced Ashton Cangila and went on to tap him out in round one. He also submitted Josh Knight in the first round at DCS 65 Holiday Bash night 1. Then at MCF 21 Veteran’s Day Salute, he tapped out Robiel Tesfaldet in the first round via rear-naked choke. Cox defeated Defino Benitez via unanimous decision at MCF 22 St Paddy’s Beatdown 10 to earn his first decision win as a professional. He submitted Justin Parker via triangle choke in the first round at MCF 23 Salute to Veterans 2.

At DCS 86 Summer Kickoff 2023, Cox tapped out Tyler Ashton in round one via triangle choke. The victory secured Cox the fifth submission win of his professional career in addition to his fifth finish as a professional in the process and sixth victory overall.
