The only way to truly settle a regional rivalry in mixed martial arts is to ensure that the ultimate prize awaits the victor. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the newest inductee to the Contender Series line ready to strut his stripes and deliver the holy word at welterweight for the UFC and give Tennessee the correct airtime it deserves. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2021 and representing Law School MMA, Danny Barlow holds an undefeated 7-0 record comprised of four knockouts, one submission and two decisions. Barlow secured his contract from the UFC on week eight during the seventh installment of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2023. He has fought for several organizations over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Cage Fury Fighting Championships. Barlow has earned a finish in five out of his seven victories overall during his time in the professional ranks. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his professional career sweeping them clean across the board on both occasions.
In his MMA debut at AKA Rite Of Passage 16, he faced Cris Mims and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Barlow submitted Lazaro Perez via kimura in round one at GMC Freedom Fight Night. He knocked out Jordan Fowler in the first round at Attitude MMA fights 23. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 115, Barlow defeated Dustin Duplema via unanimous decision.
