With just over 24 hours to go until CW 163, the fighters hit the scales on Friday morning at the Hilton Hotel on London’s Canary Wharf.

Both Omiel Brown and Giannis Bachar came in comfortably under the welterweight limit for their five-round main event, as both look to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Nicolas Dalby, Dan Hardy and Rhys McKee as holders of the 170lb title.
Both Shawn Da Silva and Gerardo Fanny requested the towels prior to stepping onto the scales, but while Da Silva was able to make the 126lb non-title limit, the Dutchman tipped the scales at 128lbs.
Following the two hour grace period, Fanny registered 126.6lbs on the scale. The bout will go ahead, with the Dutchman being fined a percentage of his purse.
In an unfortunate turn of events, the proposed strawweight bout between Rhi Rhi Hudson and Annalisa La Bella will now not take place, after La Bella was not medically cleared.
However, an 11th hour addition has been made to the card, as GB Top Team’s Kate Bacik steps in to face Team Underground’s Sinéadh Ní Nualláin.
The Irishwoman had previously been scheduled to meet Awa Sow, but was temporarily removed from the card when her opponent was not medically cleared.
