Across The Pond Profile: Caestus MMA fighter Ross Cooper

The chains of struggle often bind even the top tier of organizations in the earliest days as the ultimate test of mental pressure under fire. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a battler of brave bravado ready to welcome a new member of the Scottish MMA family into the fold of fight circles on December 2 when Caestus MMA begins operations for their maiden event at the Pierdam Resort in Dundee. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2014 and representing Higher Level Martial Arts, Ross Cooper holds a 4-3 record with all four of his victories coming via submission. He has fought for numerous promotions during his career in the professional ranks including On Top Promotions, Forza Fighting Championship and Cage Warriors. Cooper has never reached the scorecards at any juncture over the course of his tenure as a professional MMA fighter. 100 percent of Cooper’s finishes have come within two rounds. The majority of his wins during his career as a professional mixed martial artist have been inside the opening round.

At On Top Weekender, he faced Callum Owens and went on to submit him in the second round via arm-triangle choke. Cooper also tapped out Ben Reeve in round one at Forza Fighting Championship 7. Then at Forza Fighting Championship 8, he submitted Ben Schneider via guillotine choke in the first round.

At Forza Fighting Championship 10, Cooper tapped out Alexandru Valenciuc in round one via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Cooper the fourth submission win of his professional career in addition to securing his fourth win overall as a professional. Cooper is a tapout slayer. so leaving a limb out for the purpose of exposure is not advisable under any circumstances because he will surge through the battle front if it means coming out the victor and winning the war!
