There is no shame in accepting defeat if a fighter impresses on heart and skills when they receive the call to be featured on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series and still manage to flip the script by earning the ultimate prize in all of MMA. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Viking of golden horns whose drive to be victorious in all things makes him one of the several standouts in the seventh installment of the series. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2019 and representing Start BJJ, Angel Pacheco holds a 7-2 record in nine contests comprised of five knockouts and two submissions. He secured his contract from the UFC on week eight during season seven of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2023. He has fought for various promotions throughout his career in the professional ranks including Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance. Pacheco has never gone to the scorecards at any juncture over the course of his tenure as a professional MMA fighter and has a 100 percent finish rate.

In his MMA debut, Pacheco knocked out Ash Majok via TKO in round one at Huff Entertainment Bud Brawl. He knocked out Sam Hernandez in the first round at Driller Promotions Mecca 15. Then in his lone appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 82, Pacheco defeated Felipe Martinez Donis via technical knockout in round two. He submitted Damion Hill via rear-naked choke in the first round at CFX 49. Pacheco defeated Zach Schroder in round one at CES MMA 68. He defeated Schroder for the second time via TKO in round one at Huff Entertainment Bud Brawl 2 to earn his fifth knockout win as a professional.

At CFFC 112, Pacheco tapped out Vilson Ndregjoni via rear-naked choke in the second round. The win earned Pacheco the second submission victory of his professional career along with his seventh win overall. When Pacheco senses a finish in the air, thunder erupts!
