Second chances in the world of mixed martial arts are few and far between unless the right opportunity comes knocking at the door as an olive branch in front of your home nation in addition to big league bosses to impress. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Northern catamount ready to leap and lunge at his next opportunity with his whole soul on January 19 at Unified MMA 55. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2018 and representing Fight Factory, Matteo Vogel owns an 8-3 record in 11 contests comprised of four submissions, two knockouts and two decisions. Vogel appeared on week four during the seventh season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2023 and has also fought for numerous organizations throughout his career as a professional MMA fighter including Battlefield Fight League and Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He has finished six out of his eight victories overall during his career in the professional ranks.
In his MMA debut at TKO MMA 42, he faced James Clarke and submitted him via armbar in the first round. Vogel also tapped out Stephane Lavoie in round two via rear-naked choke at TKO MMA 43. Then at TKO MMA 45, he defeated Johnny Baldridge via technical knockout in the third round. Vogel defeated Serhiy Sidey via unanimous decision at BTC 9 Rampage.
