There comes a point in every fighter’s career where leaving the nest and gaining your wings to achieve your potential at its peak becomes a choice too heavy to bear without the assistance of trusted hands working behind the scenes. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a ram of altitude ready to put lightweights under his heavy hooves as the latest graduate of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series seventh season to put pen to paper with the UFC. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2021 and representing Factory X, Marquel Mederos holds an 8-1 record in nine overall bouts comprised of six knockouts and two decisions. Mederos secured his contract from the UFC on the final episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season seven in 2023 and has fought for several other organizations over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Fury Fighting Championship and Fighting Alliance Championship.
