Shots fired from Mohammad Fakhreddine

Former Light Heavyweight and Middleweight champion has fired shots at the new Super Welterweight king Kamal Magomedov and former titleholder Marcin Bandel as he looks to make history.

BRAVE Combat Federation legend and former two-weight champion Mohammad Fakhreddine is eager to return to the most global MMA organisation in the world in search of history. A former Light Heavyweight and Middleweight titleholder, ‘’The Latest’’ now has his eyes set on a third throne, with a run to the Super Welterweight belt firmly on his mind.

Fakhreddine spoke about the motivation behind his return, after being heavily involved outside of the cage at the BRAVE International Combat Week, helping Team Lebanon in the IMMAF Asia Championship, as well as cornering Lebanese fighters in the BRAVE CF cards.

‘’It was a great experience for me to be honest. I coached, I reffed, I judged, I cornered. I did everything that I could possibly do, but there was something missing in there. And, you know, watching those fights brought that fire back and it made me want to fight’’, said the former champion.

Aside from that, Fakhreddine also explained why he was not impressed with the Super Welterweight title fight and claimed he could beat both the new champion Kamal Magomedov and the former titleholder Marcin Bandel in one night.

‘’To be honest, the first day I got to Bahrain, I was watching the Super Welterweight title fight, when (Kamal) Magomedov and Marcin (Bandel) went to war. From what I saw from that fight, I could beat both guys on the same night’’.

While there’s no confirmed return for Fakhreddine, the former champion has amped up his training ahead of a return, with the intention of looking to become the first-ever triple champion in mixed martial arts history.
