Fighters who are willing to chase victory at any price will go to any lengths to get a win, including going on the road away from the comforts of home to come out the victor to live your best life despite an unlucky hand. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a blackened steed of dark storm clouds ready to bask in the championship light at lightweight for Cage Fighting Championship and show those who believe what life at the top can do for the overall direction of their career arc. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2023 and representing Top Brother, Morquez Forest owns an unbeaten 5-0 record comprised of two submissions, two knockouts and one decision. Forest has spent his entire career as a professional MMA fighter with Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He has finished four out of his five wins overall over the course of his career in the professional MMA ranks. The majority of Forest’s victories as a professional mixed martial artist have come inside the distance. Forest is 5-0 under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner with four finishes in five appearances with the organization under his belt to show for it.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 119, he faced Chad Ritter and defeated him via technical knockout in the third round. Forest knocked out Tommy Laipply in round one at CFFC 122. Then at CFFC 124, he defeated Nick Caracappa via unanimous decision to score his first and only decision win as a professional. Forest submitted Jordan Herrington via rear-naked choke in the first round at CFFC 126.

In the main event of CFFC 131, he tapped out Robert Varricchio in round two via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Forest the second submission win of his professional career along with his fifth straight victory under the CFFC banner. He also picked up his fifth consecutive victory to begin his professional career in the process. Forest’s resilience even in the most adverse of situations has opponents going bust when all the cards are laid out without a poker face!
