Across The Pond Profile: Ben Fowler of Derby City Mixed Martial Arts

Regional fighters often stay where they are most comfortable before they turn over a new leaf because they are familiar with the comforts of home and can stay to a regimented routine without having to travel far within their respective state. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a panther of blue blood tradition ready to spring forward as the next era of MMA in the Bluegrass state steps into the widening circle. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2021 and representing Derby City Mixed Martial Arts, Ben Fowler owns a 3-2 record with all three of his victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter coming via TKO. He has fought for B2 Fighting Series and Legacy Fighting Alliance. Fowler has a 100 percent finish rate and has never gone to the scorecards at any juncture during his career as a professional mixed martial artist. All of his wins during his professional career have come inside of two rounds. Fowler has spent the majority of his professional career in his home state of Kentucky. He has two first-round finishes in addition to a single second-round finish in five professional appearances under his belt to show for it thus far.

At B2 Fighting Series 156 Iowa, he faced Travis Murchison and defeated him via technical knockout in round one. Fowler knocked out Logan Crosby in the first round at B2 Fighting Series 163 Little Rock. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 180, he defeated Trae Cusac via technical knockout in the second round. The win secured Fowler the third knockout victory of his professional career along with his first victory under the LFA banner. He also picked up victory number three overall as a professional in the process. Foes would be wise to look before they leap due to Fowler’s prime piercing claws!
