Setbacks are just part of the game if you live the life of a professional MMA fighter with each setting the stage for a breakthrough triumph when the puzzle pieces get put together to take a whole photograph to put on victory’s mantle when the process reaches completion. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a hunter of the jungle shade ready to pounce from dark shadows and reset his stock at middleweight for Cage Warriors. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2021 and representing Itapava Jiu-Jitsu, Michael Tchamou holds a 3-4 record in seven professional appearances with all three of his wins coming via knockout. He has spent the majority of his professional career with Cage Warriors. 100 percent of Tchamou’s victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have come within the opening round. He has never gone to the scorecards at any point in time during his career as a professional mixed martial artist with three first-round finishes under his belt to show for it in addition to a finish rate of 100 percent.
In his MMA debut at Lockdown Fight Series caged in, he faced Craig Rawlins and went on to knock him out in the first round. Tchamou also knocked out Piotr Chimelecki in round one in his second appearance with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 136. Then for his third outing with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 140, he knocked out Glenn Irvine in round one. The win earned Tchamou the third knockout victory of his professional career along with win number two under the Cage Warriors banner. He also picked up his third victory inside the professional ranks overall in the process.
At Cage Warriors 172 on May 25, he will take on recent Cage Warriors signee Joe Ambler in middleweight action. Good luck Michael!
