We draw near to the end of yet another weekend of eye opening combat sports, but it’s not over just yet. To cap off the weekend’s violent festivities, we’re treated to the highly successful Road to UFC with Episode 4 at UFC Performance Institute Shanghai today at 1 pm BST. The ground-breaking “win and advance” tournament has given opportunities to high class combatants from Asia and across the globe a pathway to a UFC contract since the show’s debut back in 2022.
It’s a great opportunity for all involved in the tournament, as well as non-tournament bouts. Also, the fans get the opportunity to support their favourite fighters in their quest to reach the top of the Mixed Martial Arts mountain that is the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Amongst the list of top prospects out in this “win and advance” competition will be Manchester Top Team’s Kiru Singh Sahota. Since joining the professional ranks back in 2018, Kiru has given us some high class finishing across the UK as well as Europe. Holding a 10-2 pro record, those of us who have had a close eye on his journey thus far knew this sort of an opportunity was incoming.
Kiru takes on Glory of Heroes and Jue Cheng King vet Shuai ‘Black Panther’ Yin (16-4), this is one of the many explosive bouts I strongly advise those of you watching at home to keep a close eye on.
Both of these exceptional warriors hold highlight reel finishing, as well as submissive prowess in the cage and will no doubt be going all out for a potential UFC contract.
