GLORY 93 took place Saturday night, July 20, from the electric Topsportcentrum in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
In the main event, current GLORY lightweight world champion Tyjani Beztati (27-4, 9 KO) stepped up to welterweight for the first time in his GLORY career and made a huge statement defeating former champion Endy Semeleer (36-3, 18 KO).
It was a stellar performance from start to finish as he scored a unanimous decision victory. After the fight, the 26-year-old then called out welterweight champion Chico Kwasi.
Petch (170-40-3, 27 KO) successfully defended his GLORY featherweight world championship against Japanese rival Kento Haraguchi (25-4-1, 14 KO). The win brought Thai legend to 3-0 against Haraguchi and moved him to an incredible eight title defenses.
Michael Boapeah (18-4-1, 7 KO) defeated Ulric Bokeme (32-6, 17 KO) for a second time. Their first bout ended early with a viral stoppage, but Boapeah truly showed his class with a shutout decision on Saturday night. This win now moves him a step closer towards a rematch with champ Donovan Wisse.
Elsewhere on the main card, top Dutch star Tayfun Özcan (87-10-3, 28 KO) made a winning start to his GLORY career with an explosive victory overMajid Amarouche (25-3-1, 10 KO), Robin Ciric (23-7, 7 KO) now has back to back wins in GLORY thanks to a great win over Nikola Todorvic (29-4, 16 KO), and Miguel Trindade (59-6, 24 KO) scored a wildly exciting decision victory over Abraham Vidales (16-4, 13 KO).
In the GLORY 93 prelims, Mehdi Ait El Hadj (33-4-2, 8 KO) beat Don Sno (4-2, 2 KO), Frangis Goma (21-6, 10 KO) narrowly edged out Juri De Sousa (44-8-1, 20 KO), and newly signed heavyweight Asdren Gashi (17-4-1, 8 KO) finished Fabrice Gnedre (25-4, 14 KO) in the opening bout of the night.
