GLORY, the world’s largest kickboxing organisation, returns to Belgium tomorrow night, Saturday, August 31, with GLORY 94 taking place live from the Lotto Arena in Antwerp.
All fighters weighed-in this afternoon in Antwerp ahead of GLORY with all but one fighter making their contracted weight. All bouts remain on the thirteen-fight card.
The main event will see two of the light heavyweight division’s most explosive young prospects clash as Romania’s Stefan Latescu (17-3, 8 KO) faces Turkey’s Cem Caceres (16-1, 13 KO).
Belgium based Albanian Berjan Peposhi (29-4, 16 KO) will compete in the co-main event. The always exciting featherweight welcomes rising star Ayoub Bourass (14-1, 4 KO) in to make his GLORY debut.
International Muay Thai superstar Youssef Boughanem (188-43-8, 120 KO) returns for his sophomore GLORY outing against tough Italian Angelo Volpe (38-5, 12 KO).
Former middleweight title contender Serkan Ozcaglayan (45-10, 36 KO) takes on Antwerp’s own Jente Nnamadim (21-5, 11 KO), who comes in to make his GLORY debut in his hometown.
Elsewhere on the main card, heavyweights Sofian Laidouni (36-3-1, 18 KO) and Nico ‘Big Sexy’ Horta (22-9, 3 KO) collide, popular Dutch welterweights Jay Overmeer (29-7, 15 KO) & Ismail Ouzgni (4-2, 1 KO) meet, Mory Kromah (29-2-1, 17 KO) takes on Mohamed Amine (29-8, 16 KO) in a heated light heavyweight battle, and James Conde (10-1, 4 KO) versus Younes Smaili (40-3, 19 KO) will now be contested at a 74.6kg catchweight following Smaili’s missed weight attempt.
The GLORY 94 preliminary card will be free worldwide on the GLORY YouTube channel and will be headlined by ‘House of GLORY’ winner & former title contender Anwar Ouled-Chaib (3-1) as he goes up against French KO artist Cedric Tousch (31-2, 19 KO). The supporting fights on the five-fight preliminary card will feature a host of top local and international talent all aiming to make a name for themselves.
