With just over 24 hours to go until bell time, the Cage Warriors 176 fighters hit the scales at Glasgow’s Village Hotel on Friday morning.
The evening’s lightweight title bout is cleared to go ahead, with returning champion George Hardwick looking trim on the scales at 154.6lbs.
His opponent, the debuting Christian Iorga, came in a fraction lighter at 154.5lbs.
All six athletes competing in the $50,000 PrizeFighter tournament successfully hit the welterweight limit.
A day after his 30th birthday, Omiel Brown tipped the scales at 170lbs even for his semi-final about against Henri Lintula (170.7lbs).
In the opposite bracket, Marko Kisic registered a weight of 170.9lbs against opponent Bourama Camara’s 170.1lbs.
In the reserve bout, Scottish sensation Sean Clancy Jr (170.7lbs) and Rafael Aronov (170.8lbs) both looked comfortable on the scales. Should a semi-final winner not be cleared, the winner of their bout will be called upon to enter the tournament finals.
Only Andrey Augusto was unable to make his contracted weight of 163lbs.
Stepping in at the eleventh hour to face Scotland’s Chris Bungard (162.2lbs), Augusto tipped the scales at 167.8lbs and opted not to cut further weight.
The contest will go ahead as planned, with the Brazilian being fined a percentage of his purse.
A scheduled flyweight bout between Igor Wojtas and Emerson Oliveira has been removed from the card, after Oliveira failed to travel to the event.
