Mixed martial arts have remained, at its core, a sport in which the adrenaline rush of adventure and staying passionate about what you love most, even at your darkest moments, add fuel to your motivational fire. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a firefly of blistering stings ready to make the flame reach flashover in ARES Fighting Championship as the competition smolders in a doubting haze. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2024 and representing Kellys MMA under head coach Mark Kelly, Lindsey Payne owns a 2-1 record with each of her wins during her professional career coming via decision. She has fought for Almighty Fighting Championship, BMF MMA and ARES Fighting Championship. Payne has spent the majority of her journey as a professional MMA fighter in the United Kingdom and has also fought in France. Both of her victories over the course of her career as a professional mixed martial artist have resulted in unanimous verdicts. Payne fought for several organizations as an Amateur including BMF MMA and Battle Arena prior to turning professional. All of her overall wins during her journey in the professional MMA ranks have come via the scorecards with two unanimous decision victories under her belt to show for it through two outings as a professional so far.
In her professional MMA debut at BMF MMA 8, she faced Federica di Filippo and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision. Then on the main card of Almighty Fighting Championship 39 Payne defeated Franziska Cwalicz via unanimous decision. The victory earned Payne the second decision win of her professional career. She also secured her second win inside the professional ranks in the process. At 2-1, Payne’s threshold of success may only be a small sample size, but the quality level has spiked at a feverous pitch and will continue to raise in intensity rank as pain tolerance cripples the unprepared!
