An Amateur mixed martial artist since February 2015 and representing Results Gym Forfar, Aaron Towns holds a 9-8 record through 17 contests consisting of three submissions, three knockouts and three decisions. He has fought for numerous promotions throughout his journey as an Amateur MMA fighter including On Top Promotions and Goliath Fight Series. Towns has spent his entire Amateur career in the United Kingdom. He has finished six out of his nine overall wins over the course of his journey in the Amateur MMA ranks.

At On Top Showdown, he faced Robert McStravock and submitted him in the second round. He defeated Graeme Callaghan in round two at Arena Fight Promotions. He defeated Eliot Harrison in round three at On Top 21. Then at On Top 22, Towns defeated Adam Battley via unanimous decision. He submitted Paul Wright in the first round via triangle choke at Vison MMA Fight 4.  Towns defeated George Young via unanimous decision at Almighty Fighting Championship 28. He submitted Regg Hingston via technical knockout in the first round at Goliath Fight Series 3. Towns defeated Ivan Lodbrok via TKO in round one at Goliath Fight Series 6.

He defeated Rajjvan Somasunderam via unanimous decision at Goliath Fight Series 6. The win earned Towns the third decision victory of his Amateur career. He also secured his ninth win inside the Amateur ranks in the process. Extremely seasoned and studious in rounding out his skill tree, Towns is not one to shy away from entering a hot zone, be it home in front of loyal supporters or inside an enemy den of divisive distractions!
