UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has stepped into the world of fight promotion, and his latest move has sent shockwaves through the combat sports community. His promotion, Dirty Boxing Championship (DBX), has made a huge move by offering $350,000 to former UFC fighter Darren Till. The offer aims to pit Till against Mike Perry in a fierce retaliation match, a move that is likely to put an end to their long-standing rivalry.

Darren Till vs Mike Perry Rivalry is One of the Greatest in History

Mike Perry and Darren Till have been engaging in a back-and-forth exchange for an extended period. From playful jabs to sharp digs, they’ve built one of the most entertaining feuds in MMA.

It all started when they trained together early in their UFC careers. At first, their relationship was fun and lighthearted, full of jokes and friendly sparring. But as both fighters grew more popular, their personalities clashed, despite being best friends. What began as playful banter soon turned into a serious rivalry.

Perry has often accused Darren of avoiding a fight, even claiming that he turned down a $2 million offer for a bare-knuckle match. The 32-year-old, on the other hand, ridicules Perry’s fighting style and career choices.

One of the most intense moments in their rivalry took place at UFC 282. Backstage, Perry confronted Till, and the situation nearly turned physical. This encounter sparked even more fan demand for a fight between them.

It’s really surprising that, despite all the trash talk, near-fights, and failed negotiations, they have never faced each other in the cage or ring. Years of back-and-forth have built the hype, but the real fight has yet to occur. With Jon Jones’ promotion now in the mix, it seems like their years-long rivalry will rise again.

DBX Set to Pay Darren Till Big for a Potential Showdown

Jon Jones’ promotion is looking to mix MMA and boxing, using five-ounce gloves, allowing elbows, and keeping ground-and-pound limited. This style suits both Perry and Till perfectly at this point in their careers. So, they’ve offered Darren Till a massive $350,000 to step into the ring and fight his “best mate,” Mike Perry.

On Instagram, the official DBX account posted, “Alright Darren Till, if you’re serious about fighting Mike Perry, here’s your shot…We’re officially offering you $350,000 to step into the Dirty Boxing ring and face the Chief Violence Officer himself.”

If Till accepts the $350K offer, DBX could officially set up the fight, making it a real possibility with both Jon Jones and Mike Perry pushing for the match.
